What kind of product or service can you create to provide a better benefit than an existing product or service. For example, “can your product or service provide something at a cheaper cost?” or “can it optimize a product or service that already exists?” However, this is not always the case and you can get very creative with your approach and ideas. Once you have decided on an idea the next step would be to devise a good business plan and establish your buyer persona for your product or service. Do Research and Create a Strategy Once you have an idea for a product that you are ready to center your business around you should create a well-thought-out plan and do research on who might be interested in that product or service. Start by establishing the potential buyer personas that you think your product would reach. Once you’ve determined who your buyer persona is you should plan some strategies to best connect with them. Once you have a plan laid out and an idea of how you're going to sell your products there are several different routes you could take. One of these is to go to networking events or business gatherings to get your idea out into the world for people to see. Networking/Public Events Another big part of being an entrepreneur is being able to network your ideas, product, or service through special events, business gatherings, and social media campaigns. There are many different events and gatherings that take place throughout the country that provide great opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs to network and meet other like-minded entrepreneurs or potential investors. These potential investors may become great partners to your business and provide you with the ability to make your idea come to life. A social media campaign can also be a great way to network your ideas, products, and services. Social media can provide a great source of funding through the use of Kickstarter campaigns and crowd-sourcing.
