For one week each November, we recognize the spirit of entrepreneurship around the world by celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week. November is recognized as National Entrepreneurship Month in the United States, an opportunity to celebrate the bold entrepreneurs who are key to the economic health of their communities and keep the American economy humming. Global Entrepreneurship Week represents a worldwide celebration of entrepreneurship that occurs in the middle of November, from November 13–19 this year. During this week, people from all over the world will join forces through local, national, and global events to design solutions for global economic growth and prosperity.
Colleges and universities play an important role in Global Entrepreneurship Week and often plan campus events to recognize entrepreneurs and share important lessons that will help entrepreneurs on their journey. Global Entrepreneurship Week fosters a passion for entrepreneurship in younger people, by developing core skills among the next generation of entrepreneurs. Here’s what you can do on your campus and in your community:
