EEC’s Tech Internship Program is launched, and we have a total of ten intern spots available. EEC will be matching companies and interns on a rolling basis and that process will continue into 2023 with ongoing Ohio Third Frontier support. Currently JumpStart is overseeing the funding for this program and in 2023, our OTF dollars will be facilitated through Bounce Innovation Hub. We express our gratitude to JumpStart and Bounce for their generous assistance and to our Program Manager, EbaNee Bond for her tenacity and resourcefulness! Czarina Legitimas (pictured above) is a newly-placed intern at Innogized Technologies in Cleveland, and shared these comments about her experience thus far: “My experience in Innogized Technologies as an intern has been very educational and helpful! Even though I just started, I have learned so much already from the internship from learning new things that I have not been exposed to, to challenging myself to do things that I thought I wouldn’t be able to, the importance of teamwork and communication, and the personal development that is important to have in the career and personal aspects. They are very informative, making sure that I understand, answering any questions that I have, expressing optimism about the challenges that occur in a tech company, and most of all very supportive of every achievement of its employees in the workforce.” If you have students interested in pursuing a tech-focused internship, please reach out to Program Manager EbaNee Bond for more information.
