EEC welcomed its Tech Side Hustle Cohort Two on February 10, 2023, joined by graduates of Cohort One and hosted by SmartShape Design in Cleveland. Students delivered short pitches on their venture ideas to an audience of mentors, fellow students, EEC Board members and Staff.
EEC’s Tech Side Hustle (TSH) program provides coaching, funding, and workshops for entrepreneurial students to be creative and grow through our part-time accelerator. The TSH program helps the team level up their skills through our Tech Credentials Program and if they stick with it, they can graduate with a minimum viable product or prototype to socialize and bring to market.
The TSH program is led by Entrepreneur-in-Residence, John Knific, serial entrepreneur and former student entrepreneur, with support from experienced ecosystem builder and EEC Program Manager EbaNee Bond.
TSH Graduate Speaks About His Experience
From Eric Elizes, Cohort One
The Tech Side Hustle program has been a game-changer for both myself and my startup, Voteable. Our mission at Voteable is to be the leading source for local election information, news, and political insights. Thanks to the Tech Side Hustle program, we have not only gained a deeper understanding of our target audience, but we have also been equipped with the skills and knowledge to elevate Voteable through prototyping later this year.
I am grateful for the unwavering support and mentorship that I have received throughout this invaluable experience.
