During 2023-24, EEC will be working with a Leadership Action Project (LAP) team through Cleveland Leadership Center’s Cleveland Bridge Builders program. LAPs are community-based initiatives that will benefit from a deep dive of a cross-sector team of civic leaders over a 10-month engagement. EEC was selected in July based on an application and interview process conducted by a panel of judges. The team will focus on the creation of an EEC alumni program framework and platform for connectivity. We believe a stronger network of EEC alumni will bolster our work and add another essential element to the regional ecosystem.
EEC Board President shared her enthusiasm for the endeavor noting, “We believe a partnership with the Cleveland Bridge Builders program and a LAP team will be mutually beneficial as EEC’s mission is targeting the entire region and is not industry specific. The project will offer a very hands-on opportunity for participants to apply their leadership skills and broaden their professional networks while gaining a deeper understanding of local talent development and entrepreneurship initiatives.” Both EEC and CBB are excited to launch into this project!
