A defining characteristic of strong entrepreneurship ecosystems is their ability to adapt as conditions evolve and new opportunities arise. Since 2007, the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC) has played a dynamic role in Northeast Ohio’s ecosystem by connecting university students with entrepreneurial opportunities and startup resources.

EEC launched in 2007 through the shared vision of business leaders and organizations across Northeast Ohio committed to strengthening the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through their collaborative efforts, these pioneers developed programs designed to equip emerging talent with startup skills and inspire an entrepreneurial mindset.
