Provides students with mentorship, education, and support as they start their entrepreneurial journey.

Burton D. Morgan Lecture

An annual event where international entrepreneurs come to Ashland University to speak and meet with students on campus

Eagle Talks

An organization run by students and faculty. Consists of short speeches that address problems relevant to entrepreneurship and business.

Maker Spaces

Allows students to test their ideas through hands-on experimentation. Here, students can determine what's working, what's not, and what changes need to be made.

Gordon E. Heffern Lecture on Christian Ethics in Business

An ongoing lecture series in which guest speakers discuss how they've applied Christian ethics in the business world.

Competitions and Events

ideaLabs

An idea competition where students pitch their new venture ideas to professional entrepreneurs. Winners of this competition receive cash prizes and recognition. Ashland University works to help student entrepreneurs develop a winning business plan and the right skills needed for their venture.

Academic Programs

Entrepreneurship Major

Ashland University's entrepreneurship major will help students learn what they need to develop successful business plans, create a valuable product or service for the marketplace, how to attract investors, and learn skills needed to run a business. Students will also have opportunities to gain hands-on experience and testing their entrepreneurial ideas.

Entrepreneurship Minor

The entrepreneurship minor will help students learn how to operate a profitable business and develop an entrepreneurial mindset and skills.

Ashland's Entrepreneurship Program

Learn practical, hands-on experience in applying entrepreneurial tools, tactics, and resources.
